A centrepiece of the event is the interactive shore exhibition, illuminating the significance of the sea to Singapore’s identity and the indispensable role of the Navy as the guardian of the nation’s maritime sovereignty. At Central Court, VivoCity, visitors can dive into a multi-sensory experience, understanding how the Navy tackles surface, air, and sub-surface threats through a state-of-the-art immersive theatre.
An unprecedented opportunity presents itself: a glimpse into the underwater world with a new submarine exhibit, allowing guests to fathom the intricacies of underwater operations. The hands-on experience with virtual simulators, akin to those used by the Navy, promises an engaging understanding of naval training.
Exploration and Adventure Aboard the RSS Endeavour
Embark on an adventure aboard the RSS Endeavour, an Endurance-class Landing Ship Tank (LST), to witness firsthand the operations and capabilities of one of the Navy’s largest vessels. An exhilarating voyage on the Fast Craft Utility (FCUs) offers breathtaking views of Singapore’s skyline. As the FCUs traverse the southern coastline, passengers can relish tales of Tanjong Berlayer and Long Ya Men, witness the oil refineries on Bukom Island, and pass by bustling container terminals, vital lifelines of Singapore’s everyday essentials.
