From 2027 to 2029, the school will be undergoing a major rebuilding project to provide enhanced facilities for its primary and secondary school students.
Primary Section to Welcome Girls
In a historic move, the primary school section of Maris Stella High will open its doors to girls for the first time in 2027.
The school, which currently admits 270 Primary 1 pupils, will relocate to a holding site at the former MacPherson Primary School site in Mattar Road during the rebuilding period.
This change aims to better serve the needs of local residents and provide a more inclusive learning environment.

Moreover, the chosen location is the former Bedok North Secondary School site in Jalan Damai.

Both the primary and secondary school sections will benefit from the addition of a school field and two indoor sports halls. These sports halls will also be available for community use under the MOE-SportSG dual-use scheme.

The school administration will work closely with the architect to explore the feasibility of retaining this beloved landmark during the rebuilding process.

The primary school holding site in Mattar Road is just 1.8km away from the current Mount Vernon campus, while the secondary school holding site in Jalan Damai is approximately 3.7km away.
Both sites are conveniently located near MRT stations, ensuring easy access for students.
