The maid eventually confessed to stealing money several times and was given an ultimatum. Ms Wang's family decided to deport her.
Following the incident, their maid reportedly bought a plane ticket to return home all by herself.
Post the incident, Ms Wang decided to share the incident to warn other employees of such incidents.

Indonesian maid guilty of stealing S$30,000 items from Liew Mun's family
In 2019, a 45-year-old Indonesian maid was found guilty of stealing more than S$30,000 worth of items from the family of Changi Airport Group chairman Liew Mun Leong.
She was found guilty of stealing two bags of around S$200 each, Mr Liew's watches, over 100 pieces of clothing that belonged to Liew's son, jewellery and sunglasses.
All the stolen items were recovered. Last year, Singapore High Court, however, acquitted the maid stating that the Liew family had an “improper motive” for accusing the helper of stealing.
Maid uses family's details to borrow money
A Singaporean family's maid allegedly borrowed money from licensed and unlicensed moneylenders using their details.
The money-lenders started demanding money from them. On confronting their maid, she claimed that she had already returned the money.
However, when the employers approached the moneylender, they vehemently disagreed.
Indonesian maid jailed for mixing menstrual blood and also stealing
The maid working for a family in Punggol allegedly contaminated drinking water and rice with her saliva, urine, and menstrual blood. In addition to this, over $13,000 was stolen from the family, as per reports.
The maid believed that by drinking the contaminated water, her family would agree to do whatever she did and would not scold her either.
