Hari Raya Puasa is a wonderful celebration for our Muslim friends in Singapore who are ending a month of fasting.

With this, Singapore Sports Hub invited everyone to watch a beautiful light display at National Stadium on April 22 from 7:30 PM to 10 PM.

The roof of this Singapore’s most iconic building will be showing a themed light display as a way to celebrate Hari Raya.

If you still have no plans for the weekend, try to drop by the National Stadium with your friends and family. Your kids will surely love the splendid lights!

In the Singapore Sports Hub Facebook post, they mention “…depicting the change of time from Kampung to City…” so we speculate something about Singapore’s evolution from a village to a metropolis.

They also added, “…ending off with portraits of Malay/Muslim communities which have remained steadfast.”

A more detailed theme of the light display is not released, but maybe this is something we all should look forward to.

The organiser encourages the public to watch the beautiful display and learn the story unfolding through lights.

Hari Raya at Stadium Roar

Aside from the light display, Singapore Sports Hub also invites everyone to celebrate Hari Raya at Stadium Roar on April 29 to May 01, 2023 from 11 AM to 9 PM.

On the said dates at the Stadium, the public can enjoy cultural performances, family-friendly activities, live music, and more.

The celebration theme is “Relive the Kampung Spirit” while featuring a sepak takraw-themed challenge, traditional Malay dances, and silat performances.

Not just that as there will also be prizes for the “Best Dressed Family” who would show up in their best baju kurung.

This is a great way for your children to learn about Hari Raya while still having fun!
