If you’re a parent in Singapore, the name Kiztopia resonates with joy and boundless energy. In the bustling year of 2023 alone, Kiztopia spread its wings, establishing five new playground havens in prominent locations like Orchard Cineleisure, Jewel Changi Airport, Vivocity, SAFRA Choa Chu Kang, and Woodleigh Mall. Additionally, it ventured beyond borders, gracing Thailand and Hong Kong with its enchanting presence.
A Mum’s Dream Unleashed

The driving force behind Kiztopia was none other than Heidi Tian, a dedicated mother of two who, inspired by her love for indoor playgrounds, embarked on a journey to create a mega-indoor wonderland. In 2012, after relocating from Hong Kong to Singapore, Tian found solace in weekend escapades with her toddlers.
Crafting a Utopia for Kids

In mid-2019, the dream materialized into an 18,000 sq ft paradise at Marina Square – Kiztopia. The playground, influenced by the Disney film Zootopia, introduces playful animal characters like bears, rabbits, and tigers. Merging the words “kids” and “utopia,” Kiztopia became more than just a play space; it became a realm of imagination, featuring whimsical themes such as space travel, aviation, and underwater exploration.
More Than Just Play

Tian, now the CEO of Kiztopia Inner Playground, went beyond conventional designs. The playground not only shields kids from the elements but also nurtures their social, emotional, and motor skills. In role-play rooms, children can don different hats – from chefs to firefighters, fostering creativity without pressure.
Quality Time for Families
In a world dominated by screens, Tian emphasizes the need for children to disconnect. Kiztopia Inner Playground provides a platform for parents to engage actively with their kids, fostering not just play but valuable bonding experiences. As Tian puts it, “Kids grow up fast, and day-to-day bonding is crucial.”
A Triumph Over Challenges
Tian’s journey wasn’t all smooth sailing. From banking to becoming a mumpreneur, she faced challenges, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. However, her resilience and creative concepts propelled Kiztopia to new heights. The Mojo Zone at Marina Square, featuring a giant ball pit and a spiral twin slide, stands as a testament to her innovative spirit.
Lessons from a Mumpreneur
Tian’s unexpected reward in this entrepreneurial journey is the impact on her own children. Observing her hard work, they’ve learned the value of effort and results. Now aged 12 and 13, her children actively contribute to Kiztopia, showcasing the strong family bonds forged through these experiences.
A Playground Empire with a Purpose
Kiztopia Inner Playground, now boasting 11 outlets across Singapore, Hong Kong, and Thailand, aims to be more than just a play destination. It’s a platform for parents to create lasting memories with their children. As Tian concludes, “Playing is the most fun way to bond and the thing that kids usually remember the most.”
In the enchanting world of Kiztopia, a mum’s vision turned into a haven where laughter echoes and memories are etched in the hearts of both children and parents.
