Kim Kardashian wants to eat her own placenta

Kim Kardashian wants to eat her own placenta

"I can't go wrong with taking a pill made of my own hormones - made by me, for me."

Kim Kardashian is getting ready to eat her own placenta if it helps in warding off the “baby blues” say reports.

The 35-year-old superstar mum who gave birth to her second child on December 5, has shared that she’s getting her placenta freeze-dried and made into pills for her own consumption.

She explains:

“I heard so many stories when I was pregnant with North of moms who never ate their placenta with their first baby and then had postpartum depression, but then when they took the pills with their second baby, they did not suffer from depression! So I thought, why not try it? What do I have to lose?”

“I really didn’t want the baby blues and thought I can’t go wrong with taking a pill made of my own hormones — made by me, for me,” she adds.

But this is not the first time this hot mum has eaten her own placenta — she first did after giving birth to her now 2-year-old daughter, North West, in June 2013.

“I had great results and felt so energized and didn’t have any signs of depression!” says Kim, according to reports.

“I definitely had to do it again. Every time I take a pill, I feel a surge of energy and feel really healthy and good. I totally recommend it for anyone considering it!”

While eating your own placenta may be a fad in the Western world, it’s quite commonly done by Asian mums, including here in Singapore.
