Before the news of her wedding, JLo told her fans through her Twitter and Instagram accounts to register for her newsletter. She enticed more fans to sign up by informing them of her big announcement.
The content of the email shows a video of herself with a sizeable green-stoned engagement on her finger. She was in tears looking at her engagement ring; JLo then wiped it away and said, “You’re perfect.”
The On-and-Off Relationship Between JLo and Ben
The announcement about the couple’s engagement happened after they publicly rekindled their romance. After almost two decades of being apart, Ben-Jen fans happily celebrate the couple’s recent nuptials.
In July 2002, JLo and Ben Affleck started seeing each other. The couple then announced their engagement in November 2002. They first planned to tie the knot in September 2003.

JLo opened her newsletter announcement with “We did it.”
“Love is beautiful. Love is kind. And it turns out love is patient. Twenty years patient,” she wrote in a message.
In the email update, JLo shared that they flew to Las Vegas on Saturday. After that, the couple stood in line for their license with four other couples who had their wedding just after midnight.

The pair held a simple wedding at the Little White Chapel. Their wedding was simple and intimate, requiring only a Bluetooth speaker to play for their brief march down the aisle.
Moreover, she signed off the statement as Jennifer Lynn Affleck.
