It was only recently when the celeb mummy-to-be announced that she is married to a 34-year-old businessman and that she was on the family way. Many were surprised to see the baby bump photo she shared along with her romantic wedding pictures.

The actress writes in her post, “Many have asked me which gender I preferred and honestly, it didn’t really matter to me. I’ll be grateful as long as our baby is healthy!”
“Now that we know it’s a boy, we’re excited to have a new king of the house!” Kimberly adds.
Ideas For Baby’s Gender Reveal Party From Kimberly Chia And Her Family
Kimberly made sure to give a shout out to her family for all the decorations at the gender reveal party. Rightfully so based on the photos she shared, the party was painted in hues of pastel blue and pink that gave it a sweet and charming aesthetic.
They even filled an entire dessert table with pastel-coloured decorations as well as toys, baby clothes, and balloons.
Aside from the big black balloon that they popped to release blue confetti, their family also printed an ultrasound image of her baby with a big sign saying “It’s a… boy!”
“My family, especially my mum, also outdid themselves by decorating our gender reveal so perfectly! How blessed we are. Really can’t ask for anything more,” wrote Kimberly.
More Fun Ideas For Your Baby’s Gender Reveal Party
Suddenly inspired to start planning your own gender reveal party? Here are a few ideas on what you can do when you reveal the sex of your baby:
- Pink or blue cupcakes
Whether pink or blue, fill up the inside of each cupcake with a filling that corresponds to the colour typically associated with the gender—blue for boy and pink for girl. So when it’s time for the big reveal, everyone can take a bite and see what the filling colour is. - Balloons from a box
Confetti is the usual way to go but if you don’t want to have to clean up the mess afterwards, you can instead use balloons. Stuff the balloons inside a box and have the expecting parent lift up the lid to reveal what colour they are. - Paint a canvas
Another fun and unique idea for your baby’s gender reveal party is using paint guns loaded with paint of the corresponding colour of your baby’s gender. Simply prepare a plain, white canvas then shoot right at it to reveal the sex of your child. Then afterwards, everyone can join in on the fun and add more splashes to your “masterpiece.”
