The growing up milk for Singapore students is specially fortified with not just key nutrients but contains 25% less saturated fat and 25% less sugar, as guided by the Health Promotional Board. It represents Abbott Nutrition’s first of its kind dual collaboration with its US$20 million R&D Center at the Biopolis, and its US$300 million state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Tuas.
Special guests at the launch event include Mr Ang Hak Seng, the new CEO of the Health Promotion Board, and over 120 children. To support the national fight against rising obesity, the children, together with their school teachers, took a joint pledge to make healthier choices in their diet as guided by the Health Promotion Board’s daily nutrition guidelines.
