The beautiful couple – now proud parents!
We’ve been waiting in anticipation ever since we knew Singapore celebrity couple Fann Wong and Christopher Lee were expecting a baby.
Well the wait is now officially over!
According to xinmsn, the celebrity duo welcomed their brand-new baby boy into the world on August 9 — which was also Singapore’s birthday!

It’s reported that the little boy, named Zed, was born at Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital, weighing a healthy 2.82kg.
The new mummy shared this lovely message on Instagram soon after her son’s birth:
Dear Zed, words can’t express the joy daddy and mummy felt when we first met you. Welcome to our family. Because of you, our lives have become more complete. August 9 will be the best day of our lives! [Stay] healthy and happy. Here’s wishing Singapore and everyone a Happy National Day.
xinmsn reports new daddy Chris as saying that their bundle of joy’s arrival was a bit earlier than expected — by 2 days to be exact — but Fann started experiencing contractions on the night of August 8 and was admitted to hospital in the wee hours of National Day.

Reports say the couple really wanted a normal birth, but since Fann was in labour for a long time, they went with the doctor’s recommendation to do a C-section instead.
“We are really excited to be parents. We’ve had this moment etched in our minds – that after the arrival of our child, we would carry out our responsibilities [as parents] to the best of our abilities”, said Chris.

Devoted husband and dad Chris stayed by Fann’s side right through delivery and said his wife was “very steady” about everything. He said the first thing she did after delivering their child was to ask the baby’s gender. She was delighted when she found out it was a boy.
According to the xinmsn report, Chris said they still haven’t decided on Zed’s Chinese name and plan to consult a high master for advice. “There’s no special meaning behind the name ‘Zed’. [We] heard it one day and decided to go with it because it sounds good”, said Chris.

When asked if they will have another child, Chris laughingly replied, “She wants one!” and added that they will “let nature take its course.”
Reports also say that Chris will be staying in Singapore for the next 3 months at least because Fann will be breastfeeding their son and he wants to be part of this process and be there for these 2 very special people in his life.
Celebrity hair stylist and a good friend of the couple David Gan (also affectionately known as ‘Ah Bu’), said the baby has Fann’s eyes and Chris’ nose and mouth.

Proud dad Chris meanwhile hopes little Zed will like the baby room he designed. The room is painted in green and white and has large wall stickers featuring a hot-air balloon, tree and animals.
A report in The Straits Times quotes Chris as saying, “I wanted to give my child a green, natural environment, that kind of feeling.”
