Free Diaper Samples in Singapore: Where to Get Them

Free Diaper Samples in Singapore: Where to Get Them

Want to test which brand of diaper is best suited to your child's needs? Check out our list of free diaper samples in Singapore!

It’s 3am, the sheets are wet through to the mattress protector, and the waistband has left a red groove across your baby’s tummy. Ten nappies a day means the wrong brand announces itself within a week: leaks up the back, marks on the thighs, a rash that showed up the day you switched. Free samples let you work out the fit before you commit to a 60-pack, and five brands in Singapore will post one to your door for nothing.

Below: where to request each pack, what’s inside, and how to run the trial so it tells you something useful.

Free diaper samples available in Singapore

Huggies, Drypers, MamyPoko, Merries and Bambo Nature all send free sample packs to Singapore addresses. Sign up on each brand’s site, pick the size, and allow two to six weeks for delivery.

One pack per household per brand, and Merries makes you wait six months before requesting again.

Where to get free diaper samples in Singapore

Huggies

Join the Huggies Club at huggies.com.sg/free-sample and request a pack of Platinum Naturemade tape diapers in Newborn, Small or Medium, or Naturemade pants in Medium or Large. One pack per request. Membership also gives you the brand’s occasional vouchers.

Drypers

Request at drypers.com.sg/drypers-free-sample. The form lets you choose between the tape and pants ranges, including the Skinature line for sensitive skin, across the usual sizes. One pack per request.

MamyPoko

Register for the Poko Chan Point Programme on sg.mamypoko.com, then use the sample request page. Sizes run from newborn to large, and the membership earns points on later purchases.

Merries

Join the Merries Rewards Programme, then use the Kao sample form to request First Premium diapers in Tape Newborn, Tape Small or Pants Medium. Delivery takes four to five weeks. One pack per postal address, and a repeat request is only accepted after six months.

Bambo Nature

The Danish eco brand takes sample requests through a Google Form on its Singapore site, with sizes from newborn through to extra-large training pants. Worth trying if you’re looking at a plant-based or fragrance-free option.

Little Rei (paid trial pack)

This one is not a free sample. Little Rei sells a two-piece trial pack of its bamboo-infused Luxury Diapers for S$2.60, so you pay a small amount instead of filling in a form. Tape trial packs come in Newborn, S or M, and pull-up trial packs in M or L. Standard delivery is S$4.90 on orders under S$60.

Pampers and other brands

Pampers doesn’t run a standing sample programme in Singapore. Its official Shopee and Lazada stores run trial-pack promotions from time to time, and the first-purchase deals on those platforms are the nearest thing to a free trial. Rascal + Friends, Offspring and Applecrumby occasionally offer samples through their own social media, so it’s worth following the brands you’re curious about.

Pick the right size

Diaper sizes go by weight, not age, and the bands overlap between brands. As a guide: Newborn is up to about 5kg, Small 4 to 8kg, Medium 6 to 11kg, Large 9 to 14kg. If your baby is at the top of a band, order the next size, because a sample that arrives in five weeks needs to fit the baby you’ll have then, not the one you’ve now. Babies move through the newborn band so quickly that plenty of parents book baby hand and feet casting studios in those first weeks just to keep a record of how small they were. Two fingers should slide under the waistband, and red marks on the thighs after a change mean it’s too small.

Getting the most from a trial

  • Use each sample overnight. Leaks show up over a long stretch, and a two-hour nap won’t reveal them.
  • Check the skin at the first change. Redness that appears within a day of switching points to the diaper.
  • Compare wetness indicators and tabs, the two things that make 3am changes easier or harder.
  • Note the fit at the back. Newborn poo travels upwards. A snug back elastic is worth more than a soft liner.
  • Request every brand at once. Delivery times vary from days to six weeks, and you want the packs to arrive while your baby is still in that size.

Other free baby samples

The same sign-up logic applies to formula and skincare. Enfagrow, Aptamil and Similac run sample and trial programmes through their parent clubs, and Cetaphil and QV have offered baby skincare samples through their Singapore sites, on top of the free skincare samples you can claim for yourself. Pharmacies such as Guardian and Watsons also hand out sachets at the counter if you ask. Once solids start, read up on baby rice cereal and arsenic before you stock the pantry with sample tins.

Common questions

Which diaper brands give free samples in Singapore?

Huggies, Drypers, MamyPoko, Merries and Bambo Nature all run sample programmes for Singapore addresses. Pampers runs trial-pack promotions through its online stores instead.

How do I get a free Huggies sample?

Join the Huggies Club at huggies.com.sg/free-sample and choose Naturemade tape diapers in Newborn, Small or Medium, or pants in Medium or Large. One pack per request.

How long do diaper samples take to arrive?

Anywhere from a few days to six weeks. Merries quotes four to five weeks. Order the size your baby will be in when the pack arrives.

Can I request more than one sample?

Each brand allows one pack per household or address per request. Merries requires a six-month gap before a repeat request.

How do I know if a diaper fits?

Two fingers should fit under the waistband, the leg cuffs should sit in the creases without red marks, and the back should stay snug. Leaks up the back or marks on the thighs mean the size or the brand is wrong.

Filling in the five forms

Set aside twenty minutes, fill in all five forms in one sitting, and go a size up on every one. Then wait, because the packs turn up on their own schedule. Between them they cover most of what sits on the supermarket shelf, and the brand your baby’s skin ignores completely is the one worth buying by the carton.
