A Modern Spin on Tradition: Honoring the Han Ethnic Group’s Heritage
Meticulously crafted with traditional handiwork, the Dance of the Dragon pays homage to the rich cultural traditions of the Han ethnic group. This 10-minute immersive light show, held every 30 minutes, seamlessly integrates tradition with captivating and quirky digital animations. The result is a mesmerising display that symbolises the promise of success, prosperity, and abundance in the Year of the Dragon.
Funan: Daily Delights from January 18 to February 4
Head to Funan’s Level 1 Atrium for a daily visual extravaganza from January 18 to February 4, running from 10 am to 10 pm. The Dance of the Dragon promises to enchant visitors with its rhythmic light and music shows, creating a vibrant atmosphere for joyful reunions.
CQ @ Clarke Quay: Extended Celebrations from February 7 to 24
Extend the festive cheer at CQ @ Clarke Quay’s Fountain Square, where the dragon’s dance continues from February 7 to 24. With shows taking place daily from 12 pm to 3 am, the celebrations provide a unique opportunity for late-night revellers to revel in the Lunar New Year festivities.
