Cater to your child's English Language skills! Head down to Creative Horizons for an interesting range of June Holiday courses!


To cater to different aspects of language skills, Creative Horizons is introducing a range of holiday courses for your child!

30 May to 4 June 2011

 

Join in the fun activities at Club Med Bintan

June holidays

1 pm to 2:30 pm
1) Active Reading
– Engage actively with books! Storybooks will be provided in advance before the course.
– Classes available for students from Primary 1 to Primary 5
2) Active Literature
– Read and understand poetry and short stories. Learn how to write effective answers to literature questions.
– Classes available for students from Secondary 1 to Secondary 3

2:45 pm to 4:15 pm
1) Reading Right
– Refine essential reading skills like accuracy in reading and good answering techniques for comprehension questions.
– Classes available for students from Primary 1 to Primary 6 and Secondary 1 to Secondary 4

6 June to 11 June 2011

 

 

1 pm to 2:30 pm
1) Storywriter
– Sharpen ability to write a good story. Students will be taught to develop plot, character, setting and theme.
– Classes available for students from Primary 1 to Primary 5
2) Exam Focus
– Prepare for PSLE and ‘O’ Level examinations with an intensive programme.
– Classes available for students in Primary 6 and Secondary 4

2:45 pm to 4:15 pm
1) Writer’s Window
– Sharpen ability to write narrative, argumentative and expository essays.
– Classes available for students from Secondary 1 to Secondary 4
2) Oral Focus
– Learn and practise the elements that produce good presentations. Make oral communication come alive with skill-based lessons.
– Classes available for students from Primary 2 to Primary 6
