27 Feb, 2013

Tired of the discomfort of breastfeeding? You are not alone. Check out how you can now breastfeed comfortably and without hassle, making it a perfect experience for both you and your baby.

Perfect for mums

Perfect for mums

At the recent launch of their newest product design in 29 years, Philips AVENT introduced their brand new Natural range milk bottles and Comfort range breast milk pumps for mums in Singapore. Motivated by the modern mum’s need for both comfort and convenience in feeding her child, they are perfect for mothers who still want a natural breastfeeding experience even while constantly having to be on the go.

Closely similar to the natural feeding experience, mums and babies can now enjoy fuss-free feeding times that are pure and safe. The brand new design of both the glass and BPA-free plastic bottles boasts a unique breast-shaped teat that ensures junior finishes his milk comfortably without trouble. Mums with difficulty getting their babies to finish their milk could definitely do with this helping hand.

Drinking from the new bottle is also much easier now with the soft silicone teat that doesn’t collapse, giving your baby full comfort in feeding. What’s more, the new bottles are also clinically proven to reduce colic, a worry that can now be lifted of many Singaporean mothers’ minds.
Glass milk bottles

If you’re thinking about getting the new glass bottle, you’ll also be glad to know that they are heat, thermal and shock resistant to protect both you and your baby. This way, rest assured about your safety and that you won’t have to face clearing up shattered glass pieces. If that is not assurance for safety enough, know also that ink used on Philip AVENT’s bottles is 100% organic and safe for your baby.

The new pumps come in two designs – manual and electric, both with active massage cushions that give you great comfort while mimicking a baby’s sucking pattern. Gone are the days when breastfeeding was a pain as these new breast pumps let you lie back and relax while pumping. With this natural comfort and ease, milk can be pumped out very easily, again giving you a more stress-free time.
Portable pumps

Portable pumps

Perfect for working mums as well as those out and about, the pumps are compact and easy to use even for first timers. The manual pump is easily assembled and can be brought along anywhere you go. Fret not too, as the single electric pump is also portable and greatly reduces any hassle if you want to pop them into your handbag for a day out.

Mums who want the twin electric pump also get to pump more milk in a shorter period of time. Don’t worry about the electric pumps either – they stimulate gently and you can also toggle to adjust the pumping settings.
What a mother wants

What a mother wants

With today’s mum juggling her career, relationships and a new baby, breastfeeding no longer has to be a uncomfortable and difficult. Besides allowing mummy to combine bottle and breast feeding, this new design could also help her combine the successes of her life – in both work and family.
