School holidays are often seen as a time for children to take a break from classes, but learning doesn’t have to stop after school. In fact, some of the most meaningful lessons happen outside the classroom through hands-on experiences, creative exploration, and opportunities to discover new interests.
This June school holidays, families can enjoy exactly that at City Square Mall (CSM). Conveniently located above Farrer Park MRT station, the newly refreshed mall is bringing together education, sustainability, and fun through a month-long line-up of activities designed to help children learn, play, and grow.
Following its recent rejuvenation, CSM offers families even more reasons to visit, with a wide variety of dining options, kid-friendly experiences, enrichment centres, and a growing athleisure cluster that caters to active lifestyles. Whether you’re planning a family meal, a day of learning, or a weekend outing, the mall provides plenty to explore under one roof.
At the heart of the celebrations is the City Square Mall Education Fair, happening on 20 and 21 June 2026 at L4 Gastro Square, where families can discover a wide range of enrichment programmes while enjoying interactive experiences together.
Discover New Interests at the Education Fair
Every child has unique talents and interests waiting to be uncovered. Whether they love numbers, languages, music, movement, or creative problem-solving, finding the right enrichment programme can help nurture their confidence and curiosity.
That’s why City Square Mall is partnering with some of its top enrichment and education tenants to bring families an engaging Education Fair this June.
Over two exciting days, parents and children can explore programmes from a variety of education providers, all conveniently gathered in one location. Families will have the opportunity to learn more about different learning pathways, interact with educators, and discover programmes that match their child’s interests and strengths.
Participating tenants include I Can Read, CMA Mental Arithmetic, Kawai Music School, Dancepointe Academy, Mind Space, Sparkanauts, Bridging the Gap (Early Intervention For Life), and Leap Schoolhouse, among others.
The fair will also feature programme showcases and live demonstrations, giving families the opportunity to experience the variety of enrichment offerings available at the mall.
For children who enjoy sports, MST Golf Super Store will be offering free putting trials, giving young visitors a chance to try their hand at golf while learning new skills through play.
Meet Eco Mama and Learn About Sustainability
Learning isn’t limited to academic subjects. Developing an awareness of environmental responsibility is equally important for today’s children, and City Square Mall is making sustainability education more accessible and enjoyable through the launch of its new mascot, Eco Mama.
Making special appearances during the Education Fair, Eco Mama encourages children to explore eco-friendly habits through interactive activities and experiences around the mall.
Families can participate in the Eco Mama Stamp Rally, a 6-station eco-tour that takes visitors through the mall’s sustainable features while collecting stamps and learning more about environmental practices. The experience combines fun, discovery, and environmental awareness, helping children understand how small everyday actions can contribute to a greener future.
As an eco-conscious family destination, City Square Mall continues to make sustainability an engaging part of the family experience, encouraging children to learn through exploration rather than instruction alone.
More Ways to Learn Together This June
The learning opportunities extend well beyond the Education Fair.
Earlier in the month, families can participate in the Youth4Climate Festival on June 6-7 at L1 Atrium and B1 Green Square, where children and parents can explore sustainability-focused workshops, activities, live performances, movie screenings, and an eco marketplace. The festival provides a fun introduction to environmental topics while inspiring young minds to think about the future of the planet.
Families can also take part in the Fashion Swap event on June 27-28 at L5 Discovery Square, which highlights the value of reusing and repurposing clothing. Through this activity, children can gain a practical understanding of sustainability and responsible consumption while seeing firsthand how small choices can make a difference.
For parents looking to spend quality time with their children, go to L4 Gastro Square on June 13 from 12 pm to 6 pm for Family Togetherness by CONNECT @ City Square Mall. It will feature craft-making workshops, parenting talks, and opportunities for parents and children to bond through shared experiences while learning more about family wellness resources available in the community.
These events reinforce the idea that learning can happen everywhere, not only in schools and classrooms, but also through everyday experiences, community activities, and family outings.
Rewards That Make Family Outings Even Better
Adding to the excitement are a variety of rewards and exclusive promotions available throughout the campaign period.
From 29 May to 28 June, shoppers who spend a minimum of $120, or $170 if receipts include selected tenants such as supermarkets, clinics, or schools, can redeem an Eco Mama bag charm plushie and an e-deals pack featuring discounts on kid-related products, services, and dining offers worth up to $200.
