Partnering ACT 3 International and its Artisans Alive! project, Raffles City will be abuzz during the March Holidays as 18 of Sri Lanka’s best craftsmen and women offer thrilling insights into their country’s incredible cultural heritage at the inaugural Children Of Asia.

Scouted from all parts of Sri Lanka, these amazing artisans will for the first time in Singapore come under one roof to showcase their unique and extraordinary indigenous skills. Using natural materials from their homeland, they will demonstrate the intricacies of creating traditional and contemporary crafts such as stone art murals, baskets, hand woven cloth and functional household items.

Come and witness the complex traditional art of rattan basket weaving and wooden toy making, to the intricate brass pot etching, batik designing, dance and singing performances, each uniquely reflecting the various exquisite faces of Sri Lankan culture, religion and literature.

So come and join in this spectacular journey and discover beauty of the Children Of Asia!
