The shocking moment a toddler walked along the narrow edge of a building in Spain while her mum showered has been captured on camera.

As her mum showered in her fifth floor of apartment, the little girl hoisted herself across the balcony railing.
She started along the edge of the balcony that wrapped around the family’s holiday home in Playa Paraíso, in Adeje, Tenerife, in the Canary Islands.
The child jumps as she appears to lose her footing and races back along the ridge, before stopping at the window where the footage ends, The Sun reported.

“Luckily no wind was blowing”
The child’s family were reportedly holidaymakers from Finland but it is not known if they have since flown home.
The management of the building has sent a safety report to the town hall in response to the incident.
One neighbour told said they were surprised “something worse has not happened” while another said “luckily no wind was blowing”.
