Here’s what the father of Zoe Gabriel, a Singapore-based TikToker who is popularly known as the Charles & Keith girl, says about the issue that they are rich and Zoe is lying about their financial status on April 16 via TikTok.
There are allegations that Zoe’s claim about her family’s poor financial circumstances was exaggerated.
On the TikTok video, Zoe and her dad, Donny Matthew Gabriel, posted a video to address the allegations.
According to the statement added in the video, their family has never attempted to hide their financial status.
“The truth has always been out from the beginning — there were never any ‘dirty little secrets’.”
The statement also includes that Zoe and her family were greatly “offended” by “wrongful and false accusations”, but emphasised that they were going to take the higher ground.
“We choose to understand others and be kind. We choose to be peacemakers and avoid contention.”

Later in the video, Zoe’s dad also added that they not only worked hard but made a conscientious effort to save.
Zoe said that going to Singapore has been a long way, which was 13 years ago.
“And it’s all thanks to Dad and his hard work,” she said.
“And mum!” her dad chimed in.
