With Father’s Day around the corner, you might be wondering just how you can spoil dad and have fun with the whole family on this very special day. Well, we have the perfect solution for you and it’s happening at the super-fun KidZania!
But before we tell you all about it, a bit about KidZania first.
If this is the first time you’re hearing about KidZania, you’ll want to start by checking out this article: 10 Things To Know About KidZania.
Last week, theAsianparent visited KidZania and enjoyed a full tour of the kid-sized city. With it being nearly the end of the school year, you can imagine that the city was in full swing with kids running around everywhere dressed as firefighters, doctors, police officers and more.
The first thing we noticed, even before we entered KidZania, is the airplane that sticks out of the front of the building. We were impressed to learn that not only is it a real Boeing 737 fuselage, but that it was actually in service for nearly three decades!
The plane houses KidZania’s most popular activity where kids learn about becoming a pilot with the help of a flight simulator. To avoid kids standing around queueing, KidZania gives out time cards for this activity, but you need to get one early as the time slots for the entire day fill up quickly.
Some of the other popular activities at Kidzania can be found at the fire station where kids learn fire safety rules before rushing off to put out a fire at a local hotel, a radio station that lets kids try their hand at being a DJ and a pizza school where they can decorate their own pizzas!
Meanwhile, for kids under the age of four, there are the Kindergarten and Residence areas upstairs. Parents, don’t fret – you haven’t been forgotten either!
When you want to take a break from all the fun and re-charge for even more fun, just head to the Parent’s Lounge which is fully equipped with coffee and wifi. Furthermore, all facilities at KidZania are fully wheelchair accessible.
