Sharity Elephant – A Bedtime Story
“Once upon a time, there was a little pink elephant called Sharity. He was kind and loving, but very unhappy. All the other elephants bullied him and didn’t accept him because he wasn’t grey like them. This upset Sharity’s parents and they decided to find him a home deep within the dark forests. While they were searching for one they bumped into an old man who was weak and tired. Sharity and his parents helped the old man find food. Extremely gracious, the man showered Sharity with affection and told him of a wondrous place called Sharityland! This would be Sharity’s exciting new destination. He invited the old man to join him and his family on their journey. While they were travelling they came across an owl who knew the way, but was blinded by the sun. Sharity offered to shadow the owl’s eyes as he guided them towards Sharityland.”
