The Mid-Autumn Festival is around the corner, and we all look forward to catching up with friends and family — and sharing a treat or two, of course!

These 'treats' which most Singaporeans deem the best part about the Festival are the utterly delicious mooncakes, of course!

Here in Singapore, every year's Mid-Autumn Festival is celebrated with these delectably delightful little treats we just can’t resist.

Getting into the rather yummy finer details about mooncakes, did you know that there are mainly two types of mooncakes available?

The traditional mooncake — complete with its baked glossy golden 'armour' — hides a creamy interior of white lotus seed paste and, most frequently, salted egg yolk.

For those of you who feel traditional mooncakes are too, well, traditional, there are also those dewy, snow skinned mooncakes that come in the fanciest flavours you can think of!

So where can one get these yummy treats? Well, to make your 'hunting' much easier, we've listed the best places for mooncakes this year — just click 'Next' to start reading it!
