The first thing many new parents think about putting on their baby nursery checklist is furniture. You will need to make sure you have a safe place for your baby to sleep. But a crib is not where it will stop. Changing table, dresser and the old, classic rocking chair are the most important furniture items you will need for the comfort of your baby.

Sleeping clothes
You will need to have an array of sleeping clothes. Depending on what the weather is like you may want to use some lightweight clothes for your baby to sleep in.
