Sounds thrilling, right? Well, it is.

But remember that ATV riding can also be a dangerous sport if proper safety precautions are not followed. So just for your convenience, here are a few things you can teach your kids before they head to Mud Krank.

Safety Comes First When Riding An ATV!

As you may already know, ATVs can be quite unstable and difficult to control. Rollovers and collisions are commonplace and can even lead to injuries in some cases.

While American Academy of Pediatrics discourages kids and teens who are less than 16 years from driving or riding on ATVs, if you are still keen for your child to give this a shot, here are some precautions they can follow:

  • Take a quick safety training course to learn how to operate an ATV safely.
  • Make sure the ATV is of your child's right size and age.
  • Always wear a helmet and eye protection gear.
  • Ride during daylight hours.
  • Ensure that your child is wearing long pants, gloves and over the ankle boots to help prevent scrapes and cuts.
  • One should always ride at a safe speed and at a designated ATV trail.

With these out of the way, go ahead and have a fun-filled day with your kid at Mud Krank.
While you are stepping out of your home, don't forget to wear your mask, and sanitise your hands.
