The Singapore government reinstated Phase 2 (Heightened Alert) with the rise of Covid-19 cases on the island. This has once again put a wrench in outdoor activities, which means restaurants, gyms, and other public spaces remain restricted. 

The Phase 2 restrictions particularly include the cessation of all strenuous indoor exercise classes. It includes individuals and group indoor sports and exercise activities. These measures will be in place till August 18, 2021. So you have limited options when it comes to following your fitness regime. 

However, do not get lethargic now because the gyms have shut down. In fact, now is the time to develop a healthy exercise regimen at home and then follow it up once the gyms open up.
