A community initiative for migrant workers in Singapore, Itsrainingraincoats, is appealing for donations of baby essentials for the wife of a Bangladeshi migrant worker in Singapore who became critically ill and warded in the hospital after contracting COVID-19.
The 39-year-old worker identified only as Case 42, had been admitted for COVID-19 around Feb 9. He is among four other Bangladeshi workers who were tested positive of the virus, linked to a cluster in a Seletar Worksite.
Contained in the ICU for weeks now, the community has since reached out to his wife who is now 8 months pregnant in hopes to offer some relief.
