As Anne Hathaway and husband Adam Shulman await the arrival of their first child, it’s been reported that the star will take a break from Hollywood after giving birth to focus on being a full-time mum.
Although neither the actress nor her husband has confirmed the pregnancy, she has been spotted out and about with her baby bump.
An insider told Britain’s Closer magazine, “Anne can’t wait to be a mum. She’s been wanting it for a long time and waited until the right time to take a break from Hollywood. She feels she’s achieved so much already, it’s time to take a break from acting. She’s told friends she wants to put her career on the back burner for a while and concentrate on being a full-time mum.”
Indeed, the 33-year-old has certainly achieved so much, clinching roles in movies including Les Misérables, The Intern and Interstellar, and multiple awards. This break will be a well deserved rest for the first time mum.
Since Anne is not in a hurry to go back to acting after having her baby, she is not rushing herself to go back to her pre-pregnancy figure. Instead, she wants to do it healthily.
“She does yoga every day and eats mainly organic food, although she has been tempted by bagels and doughnuts recently to combat morning sickness,” the source adds.
Previously, Anne has admitted that she wants a big family, saying, “I’ll start with one healthy kid but I’d like to have a few naturally and adopt. I gotta get on it, you know? I’d like to have as many as I can afford, not just financially but in terms of time, because you want to make sure each one feels special.”
