With the holidays right around the corner, don’t miss a chance to spend it with the kids for some exciting outdoor activities! You can either plan a relaxing staycation, sign them up for a holiday camp, or simply take them out to some of the fun park playgrounds around the little red dot.
For these school holidays, however, let your kids reconnect with nature and the great outdoors through the heartlands’ new national gardens at Jurong Lake Gardens. This people’s garden has been landscaped and created for families and the community to enjoy together.
So let’s take a look at the places you can take your kids during the school holidays this March.
Clusia Cove
This three-hectare water playground is great for kids to splash around and have some water play fun! Your child can also play at the sandy areas of Clusia Cove where they can dig it up or create sandcastles.
You won’t have to travel too far for a sunny beach holiday as the playground allows visitors to experience water movements similar to those at coastal shores.
But don’t forget to pack an extra change of clothes for your visit for you can definitely expect your kids to come out soaking wet by the end of the day.
Forest Ramble (Nature Playgarden)
For a unique adventure play experience, you can also take the kids to the park’s nature playgarden Forest Ramble where they will be surrounded by natural grounds.
This playground is inspired by nature so that children will get to mimic the natural movements of freshwater swamp forest creatures. The playground features instalments that can make your child either feel like a Grey Heron gliding through the air or like a Smooth-coated otter playfully splashing around in the water.
Your little one will not run out of things to do within this playgarden’s 13 different adventure stations for them to explore for the whole day.
So if you still haven’t planned out your March holiday schedules, you may want to consider bringing the whole family along to enjoy a wonderful sunny day out at Jurong Lake Gardens.
