7 reasons to celebrate Chinese New Year at HarbourFront Centre – starting with Bada & Jess LIVE in Singapore!

It’s Badanamu Time!

Guess what’s coming your way this Lunar New Year! For the first time in Singapore, catch Bada and Jess of Badanamu perform LIVE at HarbourFront Centre (HFC)!

From 18 January-3 February, usher in the Lunar New Year through singalongs, adorable Badanamu-themed ang baos, travel neck hoodie pillows and a series of fun-filled Badanamu-themed activities!

Here, we’ve listed seven HUAT-derful reasons to make your way down to HFC this Chinese New Year to have some fun with the family! Click on.

1. Meet Bada and Jess from Badanamu!

It’s Badanamu Time! Join Bada and Jess in their debut appearance in Singapore and sing along to all-time favourite hits like "Ponytail", "Hop, Pop, Stop" and "Badanamu Time" on weekends at 1pm and 7pm.

Each performance is accompanied by a Meet & Greet session. To kick off the Badanamu Experience at HFC, David Roberts, the creator of Badanamu, will be present with Bada and Jess for the first Meet & Greet session after the first performance on 19 January, 1pm!

If your little one is all about saving the world with their super powers, join the brave cadets from Badanamu at the Badanamu Cadets screening on weekends at 5pm. Three episodes will air across three weekends.

Each screening will be followed by a Meet & Greet session with Bada and Jess as well. Viewers can look forward to an adventure with Bada and his fellow brave cadets as they battle against the forces of darkness to keep the world of Badanamu safe!

2. Take Part in Badanamu-Themed, Fun-Filled Activities!

Great for families with kids ages two and up, there’s plenty at HFC this CNY to keep the little ones entertained and occupied. With a minimum spend of $38 and $58; you can participate in a series of Badanamu-themed activities daily between 12pm and 8pm.

Colouring Wall

The Lunar New Year is all about bright colours and vibrancy. Celebrate it by bringing your favourite Badanamu characters to life at HFC’s six metre Badanamu-themed Colouring Wall!

Yes, you read that right – a six-metre colouring wall. Your kids will be thrilled!

Interactive Wall

Let the little ones immerse themselves in the world of Badanamu. Through life-sized touch screens, children can embark on a learning adventure through song, memory games, guided reading, puzzles and more at the Interactive Wall.

Craft Activity

Cherry blossoms signify spring and new beginnings. For those who love a good craft activity, Fill the card with cherry blossoms and take home your masterpiece!

3. Sing in Perfect Pitch at the Badanamu Karaoke Booths!

Love to sing K? At the Badanamu Karaoke Booths, parents and children can sing their favourite Badanamu tunes – together! Available everyday but only free on weekends, parents can even record their child’s performance and take the recording home. How cool is that?

Some of the Badanamu songs included are "Party on the Ocean Floor", "Badanamu Time" and "Pig in a Wig". Karaoke enthusiasts can also look forward to a special Badanamu CNY 2019 song!

4. A Souvenir for Keeps

After a fun day out at HFC’s CNY Badanamu Experience, why not take home a little something to remember the experience? On weekends from 2pm-4pm*, FREE Badanamu tattoos will be given out.

Just how do you go about participating in these not-to-be-missed events? We've put together a quick “spending tier” guide for easy reference.

It is simple:

• Spend $38 (maximum of two same-day receipts) to participate in the Colouring Wall and one Meet & Greet session.

• Spend $58 (max of two same-day receipts) to participate in one Meet & Greet session, Colouring Wall, Interactive Wall, Badanamu Karaoke (FREE on weekends only).
