2 Year Old Smokes 40 Cigarettes a Day!

Shocked? So are we! The boy, who lives in Jakarta, Indonesia, has been addicted to smoking since he was introduced to cigarettes by his father when he was just 18 months old!

Are you shocked? Outraged? So are we! Ever since the video of the toddler puffing on a cigarette surfaced on Youtube, people all over the world have been buzzing over the news. The boy, who lives in Jakarta, Indonesia, has been addicted to smoking since he was introduced to cigarettes by his father when he was just 18 months old! Since then, his weight has ballooned to almost 25 kg, making him unable to run around and play with his friends like a normal child. What’s more, his father, Mohammad Rizal, seems to be taking this lightly, saying, “I’m not worried about his health, he looks healthy,”.

His mother, Diana, 26, wept: “He’s totally addicted. If he doesn’t get cigarettes, he gets angry and screams and batters his head against the wall. He tells me he feels dizzy and sick.” Not only that, his habit is taken to the extreme when he requires about 40 cigarettes just to satisfy him. This has taken a toll on the family financially, as Ardi will smoke only one brand and his habit costs his parents $8 a day.

Still think your toddler is badly behaved? What do you think of this story?
