Sleep…it’s what every parent craves for themselves and their baby.
To get your baby to sleep through the entire night is better than winning the lottery for many parents. If you don’t believe me, ask any parent with a baby under the age of one.
In those first few weeks or months, a baby wakes up at night because they need to be fed. Their little systems simply can’t go without food for that long. That’s life. But later on (about the age of 4 to 6 months) babies can go through the night without eating if mums and dads make sure they’re filled up with a little snack or bottle/nursing session right before going down for the night. At this point, babies can sleep through the night if they are trained to do so. This training comes from parents who are calm, diligent and resourceful.
