When you have kids, keeping them entertained, especially during holidays and weekends, can sometimes be a tough job.
With this in mind, an increasing number of parents in Singapore are actively looking for ‘edutainment’ activities that combine both fun and learning for their children… such as those currently being offered by Wildlife Reserves Singapore (WRS)!
WRS award-winning wildlife parks are now even more accessible
Families have always loved the four WRS parks: Jurong Bird Park, Night Safari, Singapore Zoo and River Safari. It’s safe to say that most of us make a beeline to one or all of these parks during school holidays or on weekends.
Parents enjoy taking their kids to these parks because of the holistic educational experience offered, such as learning about the conservation of both animals and the environment.
And kids just love visiting the parks because each one offers an incredibly fun, unique and memorable experience!
Now, it’s just become a whole lot easier and economical to visit these parks whenever you want, with the introduction of a new membership programme, and a brand new bus route that runs from Singapore’s heartland to the parks.
Ms Sherri Lim, Chief Park Operations and Revenue Officer, Wildlife Reserves Singapore, says:
“Singapore has some of the best wildlife parks in the region. We hope to encourage more guests to make repeat visits by providing annual memberships that offer good value for multi-park visits.
“Aside from being an excellent way for friends and families to bond over the natural world, we hope such visits will serve to further inspire them to value and conserve biodiversity.”
Friends of Wildlife membership
With the introduction of Friends of Wildlife membership, you now get unlimited access to all four attractions for the whole year from as little as $119. This brings you big savings for repeated visits to any of the parks through the year.
Amazing incentives
Members will enjoy benefits such as weekday tram rides, retail and F&B discounts and savings off parking fees. Senior Citizen members will enjoy unlimited daily tram rides, making it so much easier for them to explore and enjoy the parks.
Discounts on single park memberships
If your family prefers visiting just one of the four parks, you still benefit, with a significant reduction in the price of single park memberships.
Individual adult membership starts from $39 for Friends of Bird Park or River Safari, and $79 for Friends of Night Safari or Singapore Zoo.
What’s more, family memberships feature more flexibility, and can include two adults and up to five children between 3 to 12 years old.
Direct bus service to Mandai
Both members and the public will now find it so much more easier to travel to Mandai.
From now until 25 September 2016, Mandai Express—a trial direct bus service to Mandai—will be offered every weekend and on Hari Raya Puasa and National Day, from Tampines (via Bedok) and Sengkang to Mandai.
The new Mandai Express bus service is fast, with each trip lasting between 20 to 50 minutes. It is also economical — a single trip costs just $3, and kids under seven years travel for free.
