What Are All the New Emojis Depicting?

When the whole world shows awareness about diversity, it is no surprise that emojis will do so too. When Japanese artist Shigetaka Kurita designed the first emojis, he had no idea that it will turn into a big industry one day. What started as a few characters to depict weather, traffic, technology and phases of the moon, has grown into a complete visual dialect.

Now, the emoji Pictionary is on the way towards being politically correct too. These have added on to the 2019 collection numbered Emoji 12.1. Wondering what are all the new emojis and their specialities? Look at the inclusions this year.

1. Woman in a tuxedo, Person in tuxedo: Along with a man in a tuxedo, a woman in a tuxedo has been added as diversity. Also, a gender-neutral ‘person in tuxedo’ has been included.
