Fisher-Price, an American manufacturer of toys and other products for infants and children, has ordered a recall on three of their Cradle ‘n Swings product over safety concerns.
The three models included in the recall are the CHM84 Soothing Savanna Cradle ‘n Swing, CMR40 Sweet Surroundings Cradle ‘n Swing, and CMR43 Sweet Surroundings Butterfly Friends Cradle ‘n Swing.
If you have purchased any of these items from either buybuyBaby, Target, Amazon.com, or other websites from November 2015 through March 2016, contact its manufacturer immediately.
“The swings have two different swinging motions—rocking side-to-side, or swinging head-to-toe, and six different swing speeds from low to high,” said The Consumer Product Safety Commission.
According to a Scary Mommy report, the products have no faulty parts, but the instructions that came with them had ambiguous instructions.

“No infants have been harmed but according to the CPSC, Fisher-Price has received two reports of a seat peg coming out from the seat, causing the seat to fall.”
The company immediately recognized the dangers their products could inflict, and immediately ordered a recall.
“This is a great reminder of how important it is to report problems you have with products, even if there were no injuries,” said the same report.
“It’s also very reassuring when a company responds quickly to complaints and rectifies any problems immediately.”
It’s completely unavoidable to run into problems with mass-produced products, whether or not they’re made for children.
To minimize the chances of such things happening, however, it won’t hurt to invest in products manufactured by trusted brands who take to heart the safety and satisfaction of their consumers.
There’s no point in buying cheap but poorly-made products if you or your family’s safety is at stake.
