Three 6-year-old Singaporeans Breaking World Record On International Pi Day

Singapore’s very own version of the “Life of Pi” Sancy Suraj, who holds the Singapore Book of Record for the most Pi Digits Recognised, will be commemorating International Pi Day (14 March 2020 at 4.30pm) by breaking a couple of memory records along with 3 children aged 6.

Three, 6-Year-old would attempt to be The Youngest Children in The World to break infinite number records:

1. Youngest Person to memorise and recall the digits of Square Root of 2
2. Youngest Person to memorise and recall the digits of Phi.
3. Youngest person to memorise and recall the digits of Euler’s Number.

The event, to be held at 3pm in Trehaus @ Funan Mall, shall be the first time in Singapore that numerous children shall be attempting to break memory records at the same time. The Singapore Book of Records adjudicator Mr Ong Eng Huat shall be overseeing and judging the entire event. The event shall be livestreamed via social media, details on how to view are below.

The children were coached using memory techniques created by four-time memory record holder Sancy Suraj and one-time memory record holder Sharina Kaur Shah. Sancy Suraj shall also be attempting to break another record alongside the children, by attempting the Fastest Time to Identify all the Capital Cities in the World.
