5 Benefits Of Taking Kids To Theatre Shows And Live Performances

  • Exposure: Just like reading, when you are taking your kids to the theatre it exposes them to a plethora of cultures, traditions and several historically significant events. The visual element is the added benefit, which kids can have in theatre.
  • Appreciation: Your little ones will learn to appreciate different culture, stories and even characters and personalities they see on stage.
  • Empathy: Making your kids watch and also participate in drama is effective in teaching them to understand other people’s feelings. When they do so, they will learn how to empathise.
  • Critical thinking: Watching theatres will also help your little ones to become critiques from a young age. They will learn to prefer one performance to another and disagree with a character’s actions.
  • Gives wings to their imagination: A major benefit of taking children to the theatre would be to ignite the spark of imagination within them.

Note: In order to attend the theatre, you will require pre-event testing. But, if you are fully vaccinated 14 days before the show and have kids under the age of 12 years, you will be exempted.
