The XPENG Singapore Showroom was buzzing with excitement on 7 May as guests gathered for the official launch of the facelifted XPENG X9 Pro, the brand’s latest ultra-smart electric MPV designed to elevate your driving experience.
Building on the success of the original X9, the refreshed X9 Pro introduces major upgrades in intelligent technology, charging performance, comfort, and safety. More than just a facelift, the new model reflects XPENG’s vision of creating smarter, more intuitive mobility solutions for families in Singapore and beyond.
A Smart Family Car Built for Modern Lifestyles
The facelifted XPENG X9 Pro marks a significant milestone for the brand, as it becomes the first XPENG model in the Asia Pacific region to feature the company’s proprietary Turing AI chip.
First unveiled during XPENG AI Day 2024, the high-performance chip delivers up to 750 TOPS of computing power, allowing faster and more intuitive performance across advanced driver assistance systems and smart cockpit functions. Compared to its predecessor, the X9 Pro now achieves significantly greater computing capabilities, enhancing everything from intelligent driving support to the overall in-car experience.
“The XPENG X9 Pro reflects how we see mobility evolving; more intelligent, adaptive, and attuned to the needs of modern drivers,” shared Dominic Tan, Sales Manager of XPENG Singapore, during the launch event. “For families, it’s about creating a space that moves effortlessly with their lives, combining flexibility, comfort, and intuitive technology as we continue to redefine what a smart electric MPV can be.”
Ultra-Fast Charging and Improved Driving Range
One of the standout highlights of the XPENG X9 Pro is its impressive charging capability. Built on XPENG’s next-generation 800V high-voltage SiC platform, the MPV supports 5C ultra-fast charging technology, allowing the battery to charge from 10% to 80% in under 12 minutes when connected to compatible high-capacity charging points.
The X9 Pro is available in two variants:
- Standard Range, offering a WLTP-estimated range of up to 535km
- Long Range, offering up to 615km of driving range
Both variants deliver improved range compared to previous models, giving families more confidence for both everyday commuting and longer road trips.
Futuristic Design Meets Everyday Practicality
The facelifted X9 Pro introduces a more streamlined and aerodynamic exterior, giving the MPV a sleeker and more refined appearance.
XPENG’s signature X-ROBOT FACE 2.0 design remains at the forefront, now paired with a supercar-inspired Active Grille Shutter intelligent air intake system that improves cooling and overall efficiency.
Despite its spacious proportions, the X9 Pro maintains a height of under 1.8 metres, ensuring easy access to most multi-storey carparks in Singapore.
Comfort-Focused Interiors Designed for Every Generation
Inside the XPENG X9 Pro are the first and second rows that feature premium Nappa leather seats with zero-gravity seating and 10-point massage functions, creating a luxurious experience for both drivers and passengers.
The MPV also allows flexible seating configurations, and the boot space expands from 721 litres to 2,554 litres, making it one of the most spacious electric MPVs in its segment.
X9 Pro also introduces active rear-wheel steering, improving manoeuvrability at lower speeds while providing better stability during highway driving. Combined with advanced safety systems, nine airbags, and ISOFIX anchor points in both the second and third rows, the MPV is designed with family safety at its core.

The event was designed to be more than a traditional vehicle unveiling. We had the chance to experience the X9 Pro’s intelligent auto-parking capabilities firsthand through chauffeured test drives around the neighbourhood, showcasing how the MPV handles tight urban environments with ease.
Inside the showroom, families and guests also enjoyed a range of interactive activities inspired by the X9 Pro’s playful and family-oriented personality. We took part in an X9 DIY Keychain workshop and also enjoyed the themed XPENG Plushie BBQ Grill Experience, which added a fun and memorable touch to the afternoon.
