Teacher dances away in a new teaching style

When messaged by his students with the offer to learn a viral dance, teacher Ron Clark stepped up.

A viral video has founder and teacher, Ron Clark dancing away with his students to the beat of rapper DLOW’s “Bet You Can’t Do It Like Me Challenge.”

Huffington post covered the story behind the video, where Clark was offered the chance to learn how to dance to the song by some of his students.

When asked, Clark mentioned that he knew that it would mean a lot to them if they taught him how to do it.

They met up in school on 3 January 2016, filmed the dance session for 2 hours and posted the results online.

Clark, is a Global Teacher Prize finalist founded the Ron Clark Academy where he tries to make teaching as fun as possible and his methods have worked.

“You may not be a dancer but you’ve got to find a way to reach the kids or else you’re going to lose them.” -Ron Clark

This is not the first time music has been used in the classroom to engage students!
