The National Library Board in Singapore is revising COVID-19 safe management measures at libraries and archives from 19 August 2021.
The literary trails offer a self-directed and interactive experience, which can be enjoyed with the family or in small groups in line with the ongoing COVID-19 precautionary measures in Singapore.
The National Library Board’s (NLB) annual signature Read! Fest, returns with exciting new online programmes designed to reinvigorate the love for reading and learning among Singaporeans.
In an interview with theAsianparent, Lynn Chua, Deputy Director, Children And Teens, National Library Board, shared how parents can ensure that their kids consume quality content.
"Parents and guardians can make use of this book to discuss how children can deal with bullying in schools and correct any potential misunderstandings that children may have," said NLB.
They are catered for two age groups—from 4 to 6 years old and 7 to 9 years old—and are selected from a variety of fiction and non-fiction books.
Project will kick off with Dharma’s Chariot by Singapore Literature Prize winner, Sithuraj Ponraj.
In line with the safe reopening measures under Phase 2, safety precaution will be put in place, NLB said.
