The Studio Ghibli Exhibition lets you and your children step into the worlds of favourite movies like My Neighbour Totoro, Kiki’s Delivery Service, and Spirited Away. Covering a massive space of 2,400 square metres across 11 galleries, this exhibition is one of the largest Ghibli showcases ever.

Imagine how fun it will be to stand in the rain with Totoro or take a ride on the train with No-Face from Spirited Away! These theatrical sets bring the magic of the movies to life in a way that’s engaging for both kids and adults.

Fun and Interactive Activities

What makes the Studio Ghibli Exhibition extra special are the hands-on activities. These are perfect for children to get involved while learning about the films. You can help your little ones draw soot sprites from Spirited Away or create a thaumatrope featuring characters from My Neighbour Totoro. There’s even a station where you can write gratitude notes inspired by Totoro—making it a fun, family-friendly experience where everyone can participate.

Amazing Sculptures and Installations

There’s plenty to see, too! The exhibition features large sculptures, including a giant piece from Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea, which sits beautifully in the museum’s lily pond. You’ll also find immersive installations in the basement galleries and original sculptures in the third-floor galleries. The attention to detail is stunning and will keep both kids and parents mesmerised.

Exclusive Souvenirs

If your kids want to take a bit of the Ghibli magic home, don’t forget to stop by the retail store. The Studio Ghibli Exhibition offers exclusive merchandise, including a special Peranakan-inspired skirt that’s only available in Singapore. Whether it’s a small trinket or a more elaborate keepsake, there’s something for every fan of the films.
