Every woman wants to feel good about about herself, and they have all the right to—especially mothers.

For mother Alia Byrne from Liverpool, she felt as if she’d only feel good about herself with bigger lips. And so she had it injected with dermal filler, all 6.5ml of it.

In the process, she has spent about $2600.

In a Mail Online story, the single mother admitted that the size of her pour gets her attention. But she says she wants an even bigger lip.

“My new lips have given me so much confidence,” she said. “Sometimes I do get stares down the street and my mom has told me to stop getting lip fillers.

“But it doesn’t bother me. It’s my life and lips and I don’t care.”

Although she has spent quite a figure to achieve her dream pout, the single mother admitted that that’s the only thing she splurges on for herself.

“’I’m a good mom and it’s the only thing I spend my money on that’s for me so I shouldn’t be judged for my enhanced lips,” she said. “Everything I have goes to my child. I have always lived my life for my son and getting fillers is something I’ve done just for me.”

Before getting her lips done, Alia said she’s always felt insecure by the way they looked and how thin they were; for her 29th birthday she decided to do something about it.

“The first time I got my lips done, I used my birthday money from my sister and mother to pay for it.

“After the treatment, I was immediately hooked! But I was disappointed that my lips weren’t as big as I wanted them to be.

“So I kept going to the clinic every few months and got a further 1ml injected every time until they were the way I wanted them to look.”

People may find her lip modifications pretty expensive, especially since Alia works as a simple caretaker.

However, she is adamant that her priority is still her son.

“I spend all my time and the bulk of my salary caring for my son as my first priority is looking after him,“ she said. “I don’t go clubbing or go out much anymore because I have a child now. Doing my lips is just a little treat for me.”
