In a shocking revelation it has been revealed that there were babies sold by a Singaporean woman. The said woman allegedly sold them in Malaysia.
The 37-year-old Singaporean was one of four ladies detained at a shopping mall in Klang, Malaysia. She is also said to be the middle-person for a syndicate. It’s reported that the women arrested are in the age range of 28 to 51.
OCPD Asst Comm Mohamad Mat Yusop told reporters: “Many photos of babies were found on the Singaporean’s mobile phone, more than 10. And there were messages indicating transactions took place.”

Fortunately two baby boys were rescued from the ordeal, a three-month old baby yet to be identified and 22-day-old Lee Kelvin who is of Chinese and Indian parentage.
ACP Mohamad Mat Yusop revealed: “We have so far managed to track down the parents of Lee and called them in to record their statement.”
An inside job
If they were not abducted, how did the babies end up being in the hands of the seller? According to ACP Mohamad Mat Yusop, it’s likely that it was the parents that sold their baby to the middleman. Some parents just don’t treasure their own flesh and blood while others are scrambling to get hold of one precious baby.
These two babies have been taken to a hospital for DNA tests and then taken in by the Welfare Department.
Back in 2009, Malaysian police dealt with a similar case but rescued five babies and arrested 13 people for baby transactions. They charged $6000-$8000 per baby.
More baby sellers
Surely you recall reading about cases such as this. Reading a myriad of these types of horror stories does not make it any more acceptable. Just to mention a few… a mom in Delaware resorted in selling her newborn son for $15,000 just so she can take her two older sons to Disney World.
In Florida, Jessica Meire Beers also tried to sell her kid for $2,000. This mom wanted to sell her 5-year-old boy at that time to satiate her drug habit. It was the daddy of the baby that notified the cops about the proposed transaction.
