"Married life is definitely different than when we were dating! There are more responsibilities like taxes and bills, and though it does sometimes cause a strain on our relationship, we always remind ourselves to think of all the reasons why we got married in the first place. I love my wife and no amount of stress is going to make me not love her."

Ashraff, 45

"To me, being married to my wife of 17 years means everything. We've done everything together. We got fat, we travelled, had 3 wonderful kids, and were there for each other all the way. I guess I would say that the only difference between married and dating life is that I get to wake up to my wife every day, instead of just meeting her for dates!"

"This is my second marriage, and to be honest, I was kind of sceptical at first, because my first marriage happened when I was 25 and I was too young and still too immature to know what was going on. We divorced within a year, and I was afraid that I would never settle down. I remarried again 5 years ago, and I have never been happier. My wife is amazing, and she taught me that although love is a feeling, it is also a choice that we make. We have 2 kids together, and I don't think I've ever been more content with life than I am now."

Vikram, 27

"Marriage is fantastic! We get to have sex whenever we want! What's better than that?"

"My wife nags even more now. I am used to everything that comes with marriage - that's part and parcel of life, and I take it with a pinch of salt. Sometimes, a ladle-full!"

Daniel, 28

"We got married a year ago! Before that, we were dating since we were both 22. I would say that nothing much has changed so far, we are both still kind of in the newlywed's stage. I think married life is wonderful! Like sometimes it gets a little scary for me, knowing that I've made a lifetime commitment, especially since we are both so young, but I know that there's no one else that I would rather have made my vows to."

Fahim, 43

"My parents were initially against my relationship because I was dating a Chinese woman who was 5 years younger than me. They believed that I should date and marry a Muslim woman instead, as it would be easier for her to 'fit in' with my family. Well, being the stubborn man that I am, I married my then-girlfriend at that time just to spite my parents. Fast forward to 10 years later, my wife and I are still together and more in love than ever. Married life is amazing, and she and I are trying for a baby. Oh, and my family has well-accepted her! Life is truly great."

"Wah being married is like signing up for jail. I kid, I kid. It's not that bad unless you're married to my wife. I think she can give the devil a run for his money *laughs* ... I'm kidding! Or am I not?"

Wei Liang, 36

"I don't know about other men out there, but I think that being married is one of the best things that has ever happened to me. My wife and I have 2 beautiful sons, and I love them so much. To know that she and I have created something so precious, and knowing that there are these little mini-me's running around makes me so happy."

Gopal, 41

"Being married made me a stronger person. If I can survive being married to my wife, I can survive anything!"
