So, PSLE 2017 is over, and next up on the list of parental worries is choosing a secondary school in Singapore.
Among many things, parents should refer to the Secondary School Education booklet, which has already been issued by the Ministry of Education for use by all Primary 6 students.
It contains important information like a school’s programmes and co-curricular activities (CCAs), as well as process for application to schools once the PSLE results are out.
Also, discuss school choices with your child. Focus on not just the academic aspects but also on the school’s environment and culture. Make sure that your child understands that he will have to be responsible for the consequences of his choice.
