Parents, Take Note! Singapore Garden Festival Horticulture Show Competitions At Jurong Lake Gardens

The National Parks Board presents the second Singapore Garden Festival Horticulture Show (SGF Hort Show) at Jurong Lake Gardens–from 23 to 31 October.

The Singapore Garden Festival Horticulture Show (SGF Hort Show) has returned for its second run, with a wide array of online activities for all. This includes talks and demonstrations.

Part of the larger Singapore Garden Festival (SGF), which has grown to become a premier tropical garden and flower show, the event will showcase Singapore’s horticultural excellence as well as spotlight the talent and expertise of local industry partners and the community through a wide array of online activities.

Members of the public can look forward to talks and demonstrations providing gardening tips and sharing on how to create stunning floral displays from the comfort of their homes.

For the latest online schedules and registration details, visit https://www.nparks.gov.sg/singaporegardenfestival/sgf-hort-show/online-programmes.

The ever-popular SGF eMarketplace can also be found virtually on Shopee for consumers to shop for plants, gardening and horticultural products anytime and anywhere throughout this month’s festivities.

As with the previous SGF Hort Show, there are also various competitions to be won, such as those for Community Garden Edibles, Bonsai, Nano Tank Aquascaping, Balcony Gardens and Vertical Greenery.

Virtual viewing of the plant submissions is made available with videos of the plants on the SGF webpage (https://nparks.gov.sg/singaporegardenfestival).

Visitors can book a time slot via https://booking.sgfhortshow.com to view these competition entries at Jurong Lake Gardens (23 to 31 October).

We request all visitors to be socially responsible and observe safe management measures such as keeping to the permitted group size, and to wear a mask except when engaging in strenuous exercises or consuming food, drink or medication, to keep our green spaces safe for everyone.
