The Ministry of Education (MOE) in Singapore has announced on October 17 that, there will be an increase in school fees in Singapore for permanent residents (PR) and international students (IS) in local schools over the next 3 years (2018-2020), starting from 2018.

The revised fees will take effect from January each year.

Revised school fees in Singapore

For the next three years, school fees each year will increase by $25 to $60 per month for PR students, and by $25 to $150 per month for international students.

There are currently no plans to adjust school fees for Singapore Citizen (SC) students.

Hence, SC students will not need to pay monthly school fees for Primary School, and will pay $5 and $6 for Secondary School and Pre-University respectively. The standard miscellaneous fees will also remain the same.
