Couples should exercise caution during intercourse in the first 12 weeks since this is when most miscarriages happen. Bleeding and pain are normal, but a trip to the doctor is always a good idea. But in terms of discomfort, your usual favorite positions are quite all right since the uterus is still small and the baby has not descended.
