Onelittleworld says he met his wife on the first day of grad school when she came up to him and introduced herself. He said it was nice to meet her and that some of them were having a happy hour later if she wanted to come along. Five minutes later, he went to his friends to organize the happy hour just so he could talk to her and ended up kissing her at the end of the night. Onelittleworld said, “That was 1986. I was 23. And it seems like yesterday.”

Cardoorhatchet says he had a history teacher who ended up going on a first date with his wife by sending a group email to her and his friends to go out one night. After he sent it, he sent an email just to his friends saying, “Not you.” This is so boss I can’t even handle it.

Tatter1212 says one night he got “insanely drunk” and created an eHarmony account and answered all the questions. He set his distance settings to “worldwide” and didn’t check it again for months. One night when he was drunk again, he says he “clicked “smiley face” on all the girls I found attractive and passed out at my laptop.” Only one woman sent him a message and they’ve been happily married for little over a year.

Teacuuuptits was the new girl at a car dealership and started falling for the one guy who wasn’t hitting on her all the time. She says, “I told him I loved his tattoos on his arms and then he asked me to lunch. The rest is history and now we’re about to live together.”
