Singapore cricketer Raoul Sharma, a member of the national men’s cricket squad, made headlines during the recent SEA Games in Cambodia.

Raoul is a member of Singapore’s men’s cricket team. Singapore won bronze in the Men’s T20 Cricket event at the SEA Games, led by Rezza Gaznavi. Raoul hit a key 26-run knock off 16 balls in the high-stakes bronze medal match against Indonesia. His quick-fire knock helped Singapore post a respectable first-innings total of 162 runs.

With his bowling, Raoul also contributed to restricting the Indonesian batters. When Ferdinando Banunaek threatened to cost Singapore the game, the 19-year-old dismissed him. In the game, Raoul Sharma demonstrated his significance as a T20 player. He will now be working to advance cricket in Singapore.

Sharma and his team emerged triumphant in the sixes tournament, bringing glory to Singapore. Beyond the sporting success, Sharma captured the hearts of Cambodian SEA Games volunteers.
