This dish is known to be healthy and nutritious, and serves as the ideal alternative for the 'meaty' dishes that are commonly served during Chinese New Year. This vegetarian dish is very popular for its "cooling" merits and easy preparation style with only the finest ingredients.
Sui Yuk

Crispy Roast Pork Belly or more popularly referred to as Sui Yuk – is another must have at the reunion dinner. The crispier the better, as this is usually the main element savoured when munching on this meat dish.
Stir-fried Leeks

Stir-fried Leeks

Stir-fried Leeks – think bundles of rolled up cash and then think leeks. This auspicious dish is supposed to be one of that symbolises wealth, due to the way the word sounds. Having leeks as the base ingredient, you may like to add some other items, such as tofu, pork and any other non-leafy vegetables and make your dish a winner.
Braised Mushrooms and Abalone

Braised Mushrooms and Abalone

Abundance and mushrooms are supposed to be inseparable, so cook up a dish of this and win over everyone’s admiration. Simple yet flavourful, the abalone can be fresh or canned, yet it will still prove to be a restaurant-worthy dish.
Stir-fry Prawns

Stir-fry Prawns

Stir-fry Prawns – laughter in abundance is something very necessary in a person’s life and with prawn sounding like "ha" in the Chinese dialect, you can’t go wrong with having a lot of "ha,ha,ha" at your reunion dinner.
