Beginning in early 1990, studies began on the effects a woman’s monthly cycle has on her attitude toward men, how she acts around men and what her attitude and actions do to the men around her. The results of this study were both intriguing and eye-opening. It had a lot to say about ovulating women. Read on!
The physical and psychological changes in a woman
Besides the fact that a woman who is ovulating is gearing up to possibly make a baby, there are other outwardly obvious changes in her body in the days leading up to, the day of and the days immediately following her ovulation.
According to the studies done over a period of twenty years, ovulating women:
- Have a higher pitched voice–the peak of this coming on the day of ovulation
- Walk differently; swinging their hips a bit more provocatively
- Smell differently–while this is a very subtle change, the studies show that men who smelled clothing worn by ovulating women had more intense romantic feelings than when they smelled clothing worn by women who were not ovulating.
- Is more strongly attracted to men who are more muscular–the rugged, masculine type
- Feels and ‘flaunts’ her femininity
Women during the ‘other time of the month’
Ovulating women are more flirtatious, dress in a more suggestive way than normal and have a stronger libido. On the flip side, women are more likely to cheat on their spouse or boyfriend during the days surrounding ovulation than at any other time of the month.
How men react
Men are more turned on by a woman who is ovulating than by one who isn’t. When you think about it, this is a bit primal–the strongest urges coming from both sexes during the optimal ‘breeding period’. Think what you want, but it is what it is.
These turned on feelings can work in your favour though, because when your man is totally and completely into you, you’ll have a better chance of getting what you want from him. Men will typically (and subconsciously) give larger tips to ovulating women, ‘hit’ on a woman who is ovulating and will typically not argue with ovulating women.
Now that you know…
All the knowledge in the world is useless unless you know how to use it to get the maximum benefit from it, right? That’s why you need to be more aware of how to use your body’s cycle to help maximise your relationship–and possibly your career.
Do you have difficult or possibly controversial matters to discuss with your man? Do it during your ovulation for a greater chance of it going your way.
Women are typically at their best in regards to their physical appearance during ovulation. Get your hair cut, picture taken and purchase important new clothing during your ovulation period.
